I think you have to be prepared to make a fool of yourself when you practice a new skill, no matter what it is and at what stage of life. It's new and - okay, new rule - no 'you' while writing. Just me.

I have to be prepared to fuck up a little bit. If I don't, I never go along the curve or come to the realization that the curve is not for me and that's fine. Fucking up is non-negotiable. It feels uncomfortable and I'm working on welcoming that. Fin.

God working on tables is so much better than bed!
